Markus A. Wischy works in the last 24 years at Siemens. In the early years of 2000, he was the co-chair of the security working group of the UPnP Forum. He was group leader for the X2Rail-3 working group of security architecture and protection profiles. Markus contributed to UNISIG subset 146 (ETCS security layer), the UNISIG subset 147 (One common bus) and the alignment of security documents of EULYNX BL4. Since 2023 he is leading the ER JU System Pillar Cyber Security domain and is the leader of UNISIG Cyber Security working group.
