National Safety Authorities and National Investigation Bodies annual reports

According to Article 18 of the Railway Safety Directive (2004/49/EC), each year the safety authority (NSA) shall publish an annual report concerning its activities in the preceding year and send it to the Agency by 30 September at the latest.

According to Article 23 (3), each year the investigating body (NIB) shall publish by 30 September at the latest an annual report accounting for the investigations carried out in the preceding year, the safety recommendations that were issued and actions taken in accordance with recommendations issued previously.
