The NRBs is a structured group of organisations from the railway sector operating at the European Union level. Its key functions include exchanging information on railway safety and interoperability, promoting best practices, disseminating relevant knowledge, and providing data to the Agency.
Article 38 paragraph 4 of Regulation (EU) 2016/796 on the European Union Agency for Railways and repealing Regulation (EC) No 881/2004 provides that the Agency may establish a Network of representative bodies. The list of those bodies shall be defined by the European Commission.
The Commission decision of 11.11.2021 approved the revised list of representative bodies referred to in Article 38 paragraph 4 of Regulation (EU) 2016/796 as below:
The European Passenger Train and Traction Operating Lessors’ Association (EPTTOLA) has decided to cease activity as from 31st December 2021.
