- Definition
- The axle load in combination with the axle spacing, with the length of the unit and with the maximum allowed speed for the unit on the considered line is an interface parameter between the unit and the infrastructure. For the infrastructure target system specified in point 4.2.1 of the Commission Regulation (EU) No 1299/2014 (*) (‘TSI INF’), the axle load is a performance parameter and depends on the traffic code of the line.
