Vincent Passau is responsible for the  portfolio management and tenders solutions for Alstom Mainlines signalling market. With a background in Mechanical Engineering, Thermodynamics and Business Administration, Vincent Passau joined Alstom in 1985. He held several positions in R&D,  technical and project management, ETCS/ERTMS development and finally projects in several European countries, also in Hong Kong. He represents Alstom in UESC (Strategic Committee for UNISIG). 

Taking benefit of Game Changers to get the best performance with ETCS

After a short reminder of the main success factors of ERTMS and the rationale of introducing game changers, the authors will describe the benefits of two major game changers : Automatic Train Operation and Hybrid Train Detection. A few examples of projects deploying these game changers will also be illustrated.
