set of techniques which offer a significant improvement over the established techniques for the development and production (3.1.2.16) of products and services which have never been part of the controlled activities of the organization, and which can be beyond the state of art. Note 1 to entry: The inputs are generally originated from research or innovation activities. Note 2 to entry: A new technology can be linked to a complete system, e.g. brakes, HVAC, electronics.
