The Agency is pleased to introduce the Railway Educational Inventory, a new online platform designed to support access to information on railway-related education and training opportunities across Europe.
This initiative is currently in its pilot phase, focused on information gathering. As the railway sector continues to evolve and grow, it offers an increasing number of career opportunities requiring a wide range of skills and qualifications. The Railway Educational Inventory aims to support this development by providing a centralised resource for students, professionals, and training providers.
The platform is continuously updated and relies on community contributions. While it does not claim to be exhaustive, each submitted entry is reviewed by ERA to ensure it aligns with the Agency’s mandate, as defined in Regulation (EU) 2016/796. During this initial phase, ERA assesses the relevance of each course, programme, or training based on its title and description.
We invite all interested parties to explore the Railway Educational Inventory and help shape a well-informed, skilled, and future-ready rail workforce.
