ERA is proud to support the 8th International Human Factors Rail Conference, taking place on 18-19 September 2025 at the Leonardo Royal Hotel London St Paul’s.
This event, organised by the Rail Safety and Standards Board (RSSB), gathers experts from around the globe to share knowledge and advancements in human and organisational factors within the rail sector.
The call for abstracts is now open on the event website - key topics for this year’s conference include human factors in design, safety culture, new technologies, non-technical skills, fatigue management and the platform training interface.
In additional to presentation of research findings, the steering group is particularly keen to hear from practitioners and how they have embedded HOF principles and practices within rail projects and operations. The steering group would also encourage papers demonstrating HOF learning from operational events.
This year, as in previous years, ERA is proud to support the conference by serving as a reviewer, contributing to the advancement of rail human factors research. Don’t miss the opportunity to engage, present, or network at this leading event.
Early-bird registration is open until 6 June 2025. For more information, visit RSSB conference website.
