Pilar Calvo Holgado is a psychologist, with a Master's Degree in Ergonomics and 25 years of experience in carrying out HOF projects in the Railway Sector. She has provided training on accident investigation techniques in different sectors, as well as participating as the only expert in HOF in the court of the Santiago railway accident. She contributed to a new safety regulation and to learn from experience after the accident of Metro Valencia (2006, Spain). Since 2020, she is Member of the Governing Council of the Valencian Agency for Railway Safety (AVSF).
